Veva Law
Veva Law is the legal arm of the Veva Group — a small, focused practice serving founders, operators and boards across South Africa. We were built around one observation: most business legal work does not need a 200-lawyer firm. It needs an attorney who answers the email, scopes the matter honestly, and gets the document on the table.
Who we serve
Privately-held companies between R5m and R500m in revenue, founders preparing to raise, and boards that want governance handled instead of hoped for. We also act for in-house counsel teams as overflow capacity on contracts and compliance.
What makes us different
We work inside the company — on Slack, on email, on a recurring call — not at arm's length. We are comfortable with software, data, and regulatory edge cases because we understand them before we draft. And if a matter is outside our depth we say so first and bring in the right senior counsel.
